I facilitated an intro quilting lesson today to teach the basics of making paper templates, cutting and piecing a quilt block! It was so much fun with delicious food, socializing, and creativity abounding. It sure was enjoyable to see everyone engaging in the color selection process. And very gratifying to watch my scrap basket get some love!
I offered two block templates. The first was the Monkey’s Wrench Block. Here is my sample.
The second block was the “Low Volume Plus Block” popularized by Alexia Begg of Liberty Love.
